Video edits that used to take hours in After Effects can be completed in seconds with minimal effort. Whether you need to swap, add, or delete objects, here's how you can do it with AI-powered precision.
-
1
Visit Kling AI
Open Kling AI in your browser. Sign in with your account, or create one if it’s your first time.
-
2
Start Video Edit
From the dashboard, go to Video → Multi-Elements. You’ll be presented with three main options:
- Swap (replace one object with another)
- Add (introduce a fresh element)
- Delete (remove an element)
For this example, we’ll choose Swap.
-
3
Upload Video
Tap Upload Video and select the clip you want to edit. Wait for it to process, then continue.
-
4
Select Target Object
Press directly on the object in the video that you’d like to replace.
Adjust or refine the selection area if needed (zoom in, redraw the mask, etc.).
Once satisfied, Tap Confirm Selection.
-
5
Choose Replacement
Upload the image or visual reference you’d like to swap in.
Add a short text prompt to guide the AI.
Example prompt for swapping:
“_Replace [object1] from the uploaded image with [object2] in the video, keeping lighting and perspective consistent_.” -
6
Generate Result
Tap Generate and allow the AI to process your request. Review the preview carefully to make sure the swap looks natural.
-
7
Export Video
Once satisfied, Press Download to save the edited video to your device.
Using the Add and Delete Options
The steps are mostly the same, but the prompts change slightly:
-
Add Prompt Example:
“_Within the context of the scene, add [new subject] at [specific location]. Ensure it blends naturally_.” -
Delete Prompt Example:
“_Remove [detailed description of the object/subject] while preserving the background_.”
Note: Pay attention to lighting, shadows, and perspective when writing your prompts to make swapped elements look natural.
